Body Optimal Refund and Return Policy

At Body Optimal, customer satisfaction is important to us. This Refund and Return Policy explains the conditions under which returns, exchanges, and refunds may be accepted for purchases made through our website at www.bodyoptimal.co.za.

By placing an order with us, you agree to the terms outlined below.

1. Return Eligibility

Due to the nature of health, wellness, and dietary supplement products, returns may be limited for hygiene and safety reasons.

We may accept returns only if:

  • The item is unopened, unused, and in its original sealed packaging;

  • The return request is submitted within [7–30 days] of delivery;

  • The product is not expired;

  • The item was purchased directly from our website.

Proof of purchase or order confirmation may be required.

2. Non-Returnable Items

For safety and quality assurance reasons, the following items are generally non-returnable and non-refundable unless defective or incorrectly supplied:

  • Broken safety seals

  • Perishable items

  • Clearance or final-sale products

  • Gift cards

  • Promotional items

We reserve the right to refuse returns that do not meet eligibility requirements.

3. Damaged, Defective, or Incorrect Orders

If you receive:

  • A damaged product;

  • A defective product; or

  • An incorrect item,

  • Photographs of the product;

  • Photographs of the packaging and shipping label; and

4. Return Process

  • Your order number;

  • Product name(s);

  • Reason for return; and

  • Supporting photographs where applicable.

If your return is approved, we will provide instructions for returning the product.

Do not send products back without authorization, as unauthorized returns may not be accepted.

5. Return Shipping Costs

Unless the return is due to our error or a defective product:

  • Customers are responsible for return shipping costs;

  • Original shipping charges are non-refundable.

We recommend using a trackable shipping service, as we are not responsible for lost return shipments.

6. Refunds

Once the returned item is received and inspected, we will notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.

If approved, refunds will generally be processed to the original payment method within [5–14 business days], depending on your financial institution.

Refunds may exclude:

  • Original shipping fees;

  • Customs duties or taxes;

  • Return shipping costs; and

Exchanges are subject to product availability.

8. Subscription Orders

Subscription orders that have already been processed or shipped may not be cancelled or refunded.

Customers may cancel future subscription renewals before the next billing date through their account settings or by contacting customer support.

9. Chargebacks and Payment Disputes

Customers are encouraged to contact us directly to resolve concerns before initiating chargebacks or payment disputes.

Fraudulent or abusive chargebacks may result in account suspension or refusal of future service.

10. Health and Safety Disclaimer

Because our products are consumable wellness products, we cannot guarantee results or individual experiences.

Refunds will not be issued solely because a customer did not achieve desired health or wellness outcomes.

Customers should consult a qualified healthcare professional before using dietary supplements.

12. Fraud Prevention

  • Refuse refunds or returns suspected of abuse;
